are you trying to say...

...that my bright green cardigan is nerdy? lol

I already wrote a review, but...

the newgrounds politeness police took it down. but what i said, and what others are saying is true... You ripped off Levni Yilmaz, plain and simple.

i know you said it was a tribute to Lev... at least that's what i think you meant, you wrote "parody," which has a completely different meaning. nonetheless, a tribute would mean doing something in a certain style while creating something new that draws influence from another's work... part of that concept means not directly lifting material from someone else's work.

It's also not about "who-did-what-first," that's irrelevant. anyone who wants to piss about that really needs to look at history books for a bit. Yeah, Lev didn't create that style... and you're not being faulted for using the "write-on" effect/style. it's ridiculously popular, and i just had a client who wanted a video that was predominantly that effect, but mainly for text. art of any kind borrows from everywhere... a good example would be to look at Pablo Picasso and his love of tribal African masks and then look at his artwork. However, what you did is outright theft. you didn't borrow anything, you just brazenly stole the concept. that is what's so wrong about this portal entry.

what's up with the blocks?

i don't know if it's an exporting issue, but you've got some pixelization ... or your symbols are aligned wrong...

love the poster in bg. lol

GREAT

this is really good frame by frame for your first flash! Really fluid motion!

Simple

and simple is good.

YES

I agree.

the animation's good...

but.... i realize that this is probably supposed to be a "what if" fantasy scenario of a global Nazi takeover, but i have one problem with it... the Nazis didn't value women as soldiers, they were pretty much just baby-making machines to the Nazis. they wouldn't have changed that belief just over the course of time. that, and she has dark hair... is she of pure Aryan blood? I think Nazi officials would have questioned her heritage, but that's really not that big a deal as Hitler was under the belief that Aryan blood had been long poisoned by Mediterraneans and such, and "powerful" Aryan blood could be brought back through careful breeding selections.

i also think that it's a bit distastefully ironic that you chose to use Anime as the style. I don't know if that's culturally insensitive or not, but...

at any rate, i hope your game plays as well as it looks! i just hope there are not zombie Nazis in it. that trope is really, really overdone.

is this a powerpoint?

I also respect your beliefs, but i'm with the other guy who said that this is a site for showcasing flash animation, not slideshows from google.

If you're a beginner...

If you're a beginner... then this is okay. seriously try to use more motion from your subjects. camera language is good, but overusing zooms, pans and other thing hurt your story by making it unwatchable. Oh.. and please please please get away from microsoft paint. PUT IT DOWN, NOW. we don't want to have to hurt you.

get a copy of Corel Draw or something with a better palate of tools and options... there are TONS of free open source vector graphics programs out there that you could download, or just pony up and buy a copy of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Flash. it's pricey but it's worth not having your animations look terrible.

also, the story was very difficult to follow. i get it: his monitor explodes and he's upset that he has to buy a new one. but nothing that happened to him was very funny or interesting.

keep doing it though... you've got potential, and obviously you want to learn to do this animating thing.

Abracadabra123 responds:

Here the story: after the monitor blew out, Mister Sweet remembers how fun he had with his computer. Then he comes in the computer repair center to fix his computer.

It's not worth to pay $600 for softwares just for making free movies.

Thanks for the rest of the review. I'll check for free tools.

Pretty good!

I liked how it was fast paced and you couldn't absorb everything you were saying. that was great. very Pythonesqe.

the animation was pretty appropriate... i liked how it "looks" like a simple class project.

also, the parody of actual history is a funny gig. stick to it... i mean, look at Monty Python.
